Lillian Jacobson, 80
Dies Friday

Miss Lillian M. Jacobson, 80, route 3, Boone, died at the Boone County Hospital where she had been a patient for three weeks.

Miss Jacobson, daughter of Andrew and Hulda Anderson Jacobson, was born in Boone County, Oct. 26, 1888, and had lived on the family homestead most of her life. She was a lifelong member of the South Marion Methodist Church and was active in community affairs until her illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mrs. Roy Lindmark; and two brothers, Rudy and Lloyd Jacobson.

Survivors include two brothers, Martin Jacobson of Boone, and Victor Jacobson of Stanhope; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 3, at 2 p.m. at the South Marion Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Winter in charge. Burial will be at the South Marion Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Schroeder Funeral Home from 5 p.m. Sunday, until Monday noon. The casket will be closed during and after the services.
