BUENA MAE JACOBSON

Buena Mae Jacobson, 89, 516 Second St., died Feb. 10, 1982 at the Boone County Hospital. She was born Jan. 8, 1893 in Jefferson County, the daughter of Ira Shafer and Anna Bottorff Shafer. She married Rudy Jacobson Feb. 10, 1915 in Boone County.

Mrs. Jacobson was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rudy, a son, three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include a daughter, Frances Jacobson and a daughter-in-law, Lorena Jacobson both of Boone; a brother, Walter Shafer of Boone; three sisters, Mrs. Fern Wirtz and Mrs. Alfred (Mildred) Mestdagh both of Boone and Mrs. Mabel Amandus of Woodland Hills, Calif.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Mark Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in the South Marion Cemetery, south of Stratford.

Friends may call at the Schroeder Funeral Home until Thursday and from 8 to 11 a.m. on Friday.
