ARTHUR C. ISAACSON

Arthur C. Isaacson, 91, Stratford, died March 9, 1982 at the Boone County Hospital. He was born April 26, 1890 in Stratford, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar [Emma Forsberg] Isaacson. He married Inez Hakes September 18, 1927 in Stratford.

Isaacson farmed in the Stratford area until 1953 when he moved to Stratford. He was a veteran of World War I, and a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, the American Legion Fredrick W. Sonksen Post No. 576, Lions Club and the Izaac Walton League. He was a member of the Hamilton County Selective Service Board during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Inez in 1965, three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include a sister, Elsie Anderson of Lebanon, Mo., and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Calvary United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Richard Russell officiating. Burial will be in the South Marion Cemetery, with military graveside services by the American Legion Fredrick W. Sonksen Post No. 576.

Memorials may be given to the Calvary United Methodist Church.

Friends may call at the Hanson-Stark-Welin Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until noon on Friday.
