Holt

Mrs. E.M. Holt passed away at her home near Stratford Thursday, December 26th, after an illness of about two years duration, at the age of 28 years, 9 months and 15 days.

Annie Lundberg was born in Korsnas, Dalarne, Sweden, March 11, 1879. She came to this country in the fall of 1897 and was married to E.M. Holt on March 15, 1899. About two years ago she was taken sick and with her husband and family departed for Colorado to try the benefits of that climate, but the disease had gained a firm hold and could not be subdued and she gradually grew worse. In March her brother, John Lundberg, made them a visit and she decided to return with him. Everything possible was done to restore her to health but in vain. She leaves a loving husband and son, father and mother and a sister in Sweden and a host of friends to mourn her demise.

The funeral services were held Sunday forenoon conducted by Rev. O.R. Palm and the remains were interred in the Olson cemetery.
