EDGAR HALL

Funeral services for Edgar Floyd Hall, 64, of Stratford, were held Monday, Sept. 29, 1958 at the South Marion church at 2 p.m. A prayer service at 1:30 p.m. at the Hanson Funeral home preceded the services. Rev. F.M. Garrett and Rev. A.G. Heddle of Iowa Falls officiated.

Mr. Hall was born on a farm south of Stratford and spent almost his entire life in the Stratford community. He was a member of the South Marion church.

Pallbearers were Fred Patterson, M.W. Manson, Rudy Andrews, Edgar Crim, Eric Carlson and Lester Johnson. Organist was Mrs. Vincel Crim and soloist, Mrs. Verlyn Fry.

He is survived by his wife, Myrtle, and two sons, Daryl at home, Marvin in the armed services; three daughters, Mrs. Verlyn (Dorothy) Westrum of Stratford, Mrs. Duane (Norma Jean) Tyler of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Gene (Ila) Beaver of Medford, Oregon; two sisters, Mrs. M.E. Pomeroy of Stratford, Mrs. Wm. Hartshorn of Des Moines; two brothers, Elmer and Martin of California; several grandchildren and many friends.
