Daryl Edgar Hall, 53, of 3065 25th Avenue, Marion, Iowa, died Thursday, June 22, 1995, in St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, of complications following heart surgery. Services were held Monday, June 26, 1995 at First Baptist Church, Marion, by the Rev. Forrest Cornelius and Father Keith Birch. Private interment will be at Stratford, Iowa at a later date.

Murdoch Funeral Home, Marion, Iowa, was in charge of arrangements.

Daryl was born May 4, 1942 at Stratford, Iowa. He was the son of Edgar and Myrtle (Luth) Hall. On April 5, 1964 he married Diane Deusterman at Bagdad, FL.

He graduated from Stratford High School and served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 through 1964. Daryl graduated from Navy Photography School in Pensacola, FL. and served as Second Class Photographers Mate at N.A.S. Whiting Field in Milton, Florida.

Daryl was the owner of Hall Photo in Marion, Iowa for twenty-two years. He was active in the community with various clubs and organizations. He taught 4-H photography for several years and recently served as judge in local 4-H photography contests. Presently he was an account representative for Qualex in Hiawatha. He was an active member of the First Baptist church in Marion and was currently serving as a Deacon.

Survivors are his wife, Diane; a son Dale, and wife Kristi of Marion; a daughter, Devan of Marion; three grandsons, Austin, Reece and Ethan Hall, Marion; three sisters, Ila Nelson and husband, Bill, Laguna Niguel, CA; Norma Tyler and husband Duane, Cedar Rapids; Dorothy Westrum and husband, Verlyn, Stratford; one brother, Marvin and wife, Ann, Beeville, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Daryl enjoyed playing golf, cribbage and volleyball with his grandchildren. He spent his life on this earth serving the Lord. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
