MRS. RALPH FISHER CALLED BY DEATH

Woman Who Resided Near Stanhope is Victim of Pneumonia.

Mrs. Ralph Fisher from near Stanhope, who was brought to Mercy hospital Saturday, passed away yesterday afternoon following a ten days' illness from Spanish influenza which developed into double pneumonia.

Mrs. Anna Amelia Fisher was a daughter of Gus W. [Emma Christina Johnson] Anderson, living southwest of Stanhope, and was but twenty-two years old at the time of her death. She was married October 12, 1916, to Ralph Fisher, son of Robert Fisher of Stanhope. The deceased leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, a baby girl of fourteen months, her father, sisters, and brothers. Her mother passed away when the deceased was but six years old.

The arrangements for burial have not been made, as one brother, Wilbert Anderson, who is at Jefferson Barracks, has not been heard from. The burial will be at South Marion cemetery south of Stanhope.

Mrs. Ralph Fisher Passes Away

Mrs. Ralph Fisher of near Stanhope passed away at the hospital at Webster City Sunday following a ten days' illness from Spanish influenza which developed into double pneumonia.

Mrs. Anna Amelia Fisher was a daughter of G.W. Anderson, residing east of Stratford, and was 22 years, 3 months, 4 days old at the time of her death. She was united in marriage October 12, 1916, to Ralph Fisher, son of Robert Fisher of Stanhope. The deceased leaves to mourn her death, her husband, a baby girl of fourteen months, Helen, her father, two sisters, Mrs. R.E. Fisher of Stanhope and Bessie Anderson of Stratford; five brothers, Eddie A., J. Hilder and Harry W., of Stratford; Luther M. of Sioux City; A. Wilgert, private U.S. Army, Jefferson Barracks, Mo., besides numerous relatives and a host of friends. Her mother died when deceased was six years old.

Tuesday the relatives met at Webster City and the remains were brought to the South Marion cemetery south of Stratford, where the funeral services were conducted by Rev. C.A. Callerstrom.
