February 14, 1985Frances Evelyn Erickson, 74, former Stratford and Boone resident, passed away February 8, 1985 in Montrose, Colorado.
Born November 25, 1910 in Stratford to Chris and Lyra [Smith] Eckstein, she married Knute Erickson on April 4, 1942 in Stratford.
She was preceded in death by her father, her husband, two brothers and a grandson.
She is survived by her mother, Lyra Eckstein of Boone; a son, Sid Erickson of Bellevue, Nebraska; a daughter, Nell Lehner of Montrose, Colorado; a brother, Robert Eckstein of Arizona; a sister-in-law, Lucille Eckstein of Stratford; four grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Boone with the Rev. Mark Sullivan officiating. Burial was in the South Marion Cemetery.
