STRATFORD - Leonard F. Erickson, 84, a former Stratford resident, died early Saturday at the Boone County Hospital. He had been a resident of the Iowa Lutheran Home at Madrid since 1966.
Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Stratford Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald Skoog officiating and with burial in the South Marion Cemetery. The Hanson-Stark-Welin Funeral Home had charge of the services.
Survivors include one sister-in-law, Ethel Erickson of Stratford.
He was born Nov. 15, 1890, in Stratford, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter [Maria Christina Swanson] Erickson. He was a retired farmer.
He attended the First Baptist Church in Stratford.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and one sister.
