Funeral services for Mrs. Robert A. Coursen were held Friday, Nov. 29, 1957 at 2 p.m. at the church of the Open Bible with the Rev. C.O. Anderson in charge. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Erickson sang "It Took a Miracle" and "We Shall See His Lovely Face," and Rev. and Mrs. C.O. Anderson sang "The Eastern Gate," all accompanied by Mrs. Glen Mayer.

Pallbearers were Ben Cassity, Syrus Nordblom, Merle Monson, Emory Gustafson, William Larson, and William Engwald. On the flower committee were Mrs. Jack Borwn, Mrs. Stuart Lager and Mrs. Arnold Gibbons.

Burial was at the South Marion cemetery with Schroeder Funeral home in charge.

Miriam Charlotte Coursen, daughter of Andrew J. and Dora Dahl was born at Harcourt, Iowa, on April 13, 1890 and passed away suddenly at her home (1308 Union Street) in Boone, Iowa, on Monday, November 25, 1957, at the age of 67 years, 7 months and 12 days.

Her early life was spent around Harcourt, and Stratford, Ia., until in 1911 when the family moved to Willmar, Minn. On June 23, 1925 she was united in marriage to Robert A. Coursen, at Willmar, Minn., where they lived until 1952 when they moved to Boone.

She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour, early in life, and has lived consistently for Him, through the years. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church, for about 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Edna.

She leaves to mourn her departure: her husband; one sister, Mrs. Ernest Myers of Webster City, Ia.; two brothers, Martin Dahl of Berkeley, Calif., and Levi Dahl of Willmar, Minn., several nephews and nieces, and a host of friends, neighbors and acquaintances.
