Harriet Johnson Cash was born Feb. 12, 1840 in Deersville, Ohio, where her girlhood and young womanhood days were spent. In 1877 she came to Webster City and was united in marriage with Frank Irvin Cash in 1882. In her youth she joined the Wesleyan Methodist church and later united with the First Congregational church of this city, of which she has been a faithful member. Mrs. Cash was a quiet, unassuming woman, much loved by her friends and neighbors, and will be greatly missed. Her life was filled with kind deeds and unselfish devotion to her family.

The deceased passed quietly away Friday morning, June 30th, at the family home. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew her.
