ALBERT SMITH, 44, FORMERLY OF THIS CITY, DIES

Albert Smith, 44, a World war veteran, died at the Veterans hospital in Alexandria, La., recently. He was born in Webster City, Feb. 18, 1890.

He left this city sixteen years ago with the national guard. He is survived by his wife and two children, Albert, jr. and Gorden; also by two sisters, Mrs. Joe Jones, of Rockford, Ill.; Mrs. Reuby Casgrone, of Rapid City, S.D.; and two brothers, Clayton and Glenn, of Rockford.

His parents, one sister and brother, preceded him in death.
