Funeral services for Adolph (Ed) Lohmann, 63, will be held Monday at 3:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran church with the Rev. H.H. Schauland officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.

The body will lie in state at Foster's funeral home until 1 o'clock Monday when it will be taken to the church.

Mr. Lohmann died at the Hamilton county hospital at 7 p.m. Friday. He had been a patient there since Tuesday night.

Adolph Lohmann, son of August and Margaretha Lohmann, was born March 1, 1893, on a farm southeast of Webster City. He was reared and educated in that community and grew to young manhood in Hamilton county.

He was united in marriage to Augusta Eggers March 1, 1916 and the couple farmed southeast of Webster City for 30 years. They retired and moved into Webster City in 1946 and this has been their home since.

He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Fred (Lorene) Lindquist of Webster City; one brother, John of Fremont, Nebr., three sisters, Mrs. Mary Kleen of Mankato, Minn., Mrs. Fred Fratzke of Montebello, Calif., and Mrs. Emma Buettner of St. Paul; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Esther Strunk, and two brothers, Ludwig and Earnest.

He was baptized and confirmed in the St. Paul Lutheran church and very active in the work of the church in which he served as a trustee for many years.
