WILLIAMS - Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Coles, 95, were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, at the United Methodist church in Williams with the Rev. Virgil Shickell officiating and with burial in the Williams cemetery.

Mrs. Coles died Friday, June 9, at the Story City hospital.

Catherine Coles, daughter of Jacob and Melinda Aumiller, was born on April 27, 1877 at Mendato, Ill.

The Aumiller family moved to Hamilton county in 1879 and settled near Williams. She graduated from the Webster City high school.

On Oct. 31, 1895 she was united in marriage to Charles C. Coles at Williams, Iowa.

She is survived by one son, Mr. L.V. Coles of Waukesha, Wis., nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles in 1934, and two sons, Gale in 1904 and Firmie in 1971.
