Funeral set on Monday for Mabel Loring

Funeral services will be held Monday for Mrs. Miles (Mabel) Loring, 74, who died Thursday evening in the Hamilton County hospital. She had been in ill health for several years.

The services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Foster Funeral Home with Rev. Gordon Watson officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Mable Huddleston, daughter of Bascom and Lenore Huddleston, was born March 11, 1895 at Kamrar. She was raised and educated in the Webster City community and later attended St. Luke's School of Nursing in Chicago.

She was married to Miles Loring in 1919 and they farmed in the Webster City area until retirement. Mr. Loring died in 1961.

Mrs. Loring is survived by four sons, Miles of San Pedro, Calif., Robert of Belmont, Calif., Jack and Tom of Webster City; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Ramona Russell of Webster City. She was a member of the First Congregational Church (UCC).
