JEWELL - Mrs. Cora Bell Rairdin, 85, longtime Blairsburg resident, died this morning at 6 o'clock at the Jewell Rest home.

Funeral services are tentatively planned for Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Missionary Alliance church in Blairsburg with the Rev. Maurice McClun officiating. Burial will be in the Blairsburg cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Becker funeral home.

Cora Bell Stoufer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William K. Stoufer, was born July 11, 1881, at Woodland, Ill., and the family came to Hamilton county in 1905. She had always since resided in the Blairsburg community.

She was married Dec. 29, 1905 to George Levi Rairdin at Stratford. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1947.

Surviving are five children; Floyd D. Rairdin, Toledo, Iowa, Miss Fern Rairdin, Webster City, Lester M. Rairdin, Everett, Wash., Mrs. Flossie Lackore, Everett, Wash., and Mrs. Doris Chenoweth, Ottumwa; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
