George Rairdin, 67, died at 4:05 yesterday afternoon at his home in Blairsburg. He had been in poor health for several years.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Christ's church in Blairsburg, preceded by a brief service at the home, with the Rev. R.N. Culbertson of Blairsburg officiating. Burial will be in the Blairsburg cemetery with Foster's in charge of services.

George Levi Rairdin, son of George and Josephine Rairdin, was born Sept. 10, 1880 on a farm four miles south of Blairsburg. He was educated and grew to young manhood in that community. With the exception of two years spent in Virginia, he had always made his home in Blairsburg and Kamrar communities.

He was married Dec. 20, 1905 to Cora Stoufer at Stratford. Following their marriage they started farming near Blairsburg. For two years they operated a farm near Kamrar. In 1924, the family moved into Blairsburg which has been their home since. Mr. Rairdin was formerly employed as a railroad worker while at Blairsburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and a brother.

Surviving are his wife, three daughters and two sons: Fern Rairdin of Blairsburg, Mrs. William Lackor [spelled Lackore in his wife's obituary] of Everett, Wash., Mrs. John Chenoweth of Ottumwa, Floyd D. of Perry and Lester M. of Everett, Wash. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Josephine Willis of Elk City, Kan.

A kind and generous neighbor, Mr. Rairdin's main interests were his family and home.
