Jeffrey Dean Ringstad, 29, of Webster City died Thursday, January 21 of respiratory failure at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN. Services are at 10:30 Wednesday, January 27 at the Bethesda Lutheran Church in Jewell, with a private burial later this spring.

Jeffrey Dean Ringstad was born in Ames, Iowa, the son of Janice (Schweppe) Ringstad of Jewell and Gary Ringstad of Webster City. He spent most of his life in Hamilton County. He was baptized March 1, 1970 and was confirmed May 1985 at the Bethesda Lutheran Church in Jewell. He graduated from South Hamilton High School in 1988. He attended ISU and U of I.

On May 22, 1993 he married Shannan Marie Donald at the Grace United Methodist Church in Story City. They lived in Iowa City, Boone, and Brooklyn Park, MN until 1995 when they moved to Webster City. He enjoyed music, musicals, movies, Disney Collectibles, traveling, seeing the mountains and making Shannan laugh. He was a member of the Heart of Iowa Classic Car club and along with his wife enjoyed dabbling in antiques.

Survivors include his wife, Shannan, his mother and father; two brothers Kirk and his wife Linda from Castle Park, CO., Craig of Bloomington, MN, a sister, Lynette Ringstad from Atlanta, GA, six nephews and three nieces, three sister-in-laws and three brother-in-laws. His grandmother May Ringstad of Webster City, numerous close friends and his best buddy Barney.

He was preceded in death by his two grandfathers and one grandmother.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 27 from 5 to 9 at the Bethesda Lutheran Church in Jewell with family members present from 6 to 8. No memorial has been established at this time. Cards may be sent to 1626 Wauneta Ct., Webster City, IA 50595.
