Edna Mae Irving, daughter of Joseph and Estella Barnett Irving, was born June 1, 1919 on a farm south of Webster City. She died Tuesday morning, Sept. 18, following a fire in her home at 709 West Avenue in Webster City.

Edna Mae Irving was reared and educated in the Webster City area.

She was united in marriage Sept. 2, 1953 to Wilbur McIntire, and the couple made their home in Webster City where Mr. McIntire preceded her in death in 1960.

She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Ann McIntire; a brother, William Irving, of Sparks, Nev., an uncle, Sell Barnett of this city, and several other uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Mrs. McIntire was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran church.

Funeral services were held at the St. Paul Lutheran church at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20 with the Rev. Arthur Oswald officiating. Burial was in Graceland cemetery.

The children's choir at the church presented special music and Miss Louise Blankenbuehler was organist. Pallbearers were Curtis Eide, Jerry McCoy, James Johnston, Merrill Miller, Jimmy Howieson and Dale Bubeck.
