Double Funeral services for Homer G. Barr, 93, and his wife, Mrs. Annie Barr, 95, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. Paul D. Williamson officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.

Homer G. Barr, 93, lifelong Webster City resident, died at 1:45 p.m. Saturday at Crestview Manor.

Homer Garrett Barr, son of the Rev. Thomas J. and Nancy Garrett Barr, was born Oct. 2, 1884 on the family farm south of Webster City. He was reared and educated in this community.

He was united in marriage Jan. 12, 1909 to Annie M. Irving, and the couple resided on the T.E. Silvers farm south of Webster City for five years. In 1914, they purchased a farm six miles southeast of Duncombe where they resided for 48 1/2 years. They then retired to Webster City in 1962, making their home at 1605 Wauneta Court.

For the past two years, Mr. and Mrs. Barr had resided at Crestview Manor.

Mr. and Mrs. Barr are survived by a daughter, Maisie Reeves of Loveland, Colo., and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and eight brothers, and by two brothers who died in infancy.

He was a member of the Asbury United Methodist church, and a chartered member of the Flugstad elevator.
