MRS. BLUE, AGE 57, DIES

Funeral Services to Be Held This Afternoon at Foster's

Mrs. Arthur Blue, 57, died at her home near this city Saturday morning at 1:15 o'clock, death followed a several months' illness. She had been in poor health since early in the spring.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Foster funeral home, the Rev. H.M. Burns officiating with burial in Graceland cemetery.

Mrs. Blue is survived by her husband and four children, three daughters and a son. The daughters are Mrs. Severt Berven, Mrs. Harry Cleckner and Pearl Pierce, of this city, and the son is Gurney Blue, also of this city. There are 12 grandchildren.

Her parents died about a year ago within one week of each other and she is also preceded in death by her two sisters, Mrs. R.C. McCollough and Mrs. Arthur Howd, and one brother. She leaves the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. George Dye, of this city, Mrs. Albert Wells, of St. Paul; Mrs. Clyde Merritt, of Myron, Minn.; Mrs. Earl Doolittle, of this city; Henry Seamands, of St. Louis, and Arthur Seamands, of this city.

Mrs. Blue was born in Hamilton county, Dec. 7, 1876 and had lived here all of her life. She was married to Arthur Blue Feb. 14, 1894 and they had since made their home on a farm near here. She was a member of the Methodist church.
