Mrs. John T. Albright, 70, longtime Webster City resident, died at 7:15 p.m. Saturday at the Hamilton county hospital. She had been in poor health for four days, death being attributed to a heart attack.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Foster's funeral home with the Rev. M.V. Chastain officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.

Clara May Schweppe, daughter of Fred and Bertha Schweppe, was born May 7, 1883, on a farm south of Webster City. She was reared and educated in that community.

She was united in marriage Feb. 11, 1903 to John A. Albright. The family farmed south of Webster City for two years, then moved to Wright county where they resided for two years. The Albrights moved to Minnesota and farmed near Fairmont for four years, returning in four years to Iowa, to a farm they had purchased five miles south of Webster City. In February, 1944, they retired and moved into Webster City to their home at 920 Elm street.

Mrs. Albright is survived by her husband, two sons and two daughters: Harold W. Albright of Webster City, Gerald Albright of Atwater, Minn., Mrs. Percy (Estelene) Bailey of Corwith, Iowa, and Mrs. Austin (Bernice) McCoy of Arcadia, Calif. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, George Schweppe of Webster City and Albert Schweppe of Sparta, Mo., and one sister, Mrs. John (Emma) Robinson of Rush City, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

She was a member of the neighborhood social club, the E.O.W.
