Friends here have received word of the death of Mrs. Gordon (Hope) Soncrant, 46, former Webster City resident, who died Saturday evening at the Boone county hospital in Columbia, Mo. She had undergone surgery following a massive cerebral hemorrhage, and was apparently recuperating slowly until she took a turn for the worse Saturday.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Holdren Funeral home at Warrensburg, Mo., where Mr. and Mrs. Soncrant had been making their home. He is currently serving as administrator of a hospital in Warrensburg.

Mrs. Soncrant is survived by her husband; one son, Kerry Soncrant, now residing in Minnesota, and one daughter, Sharon, at home.

The Soncrants formerly resided for many years in Webster City where Mr. Soncrant was the administrator of the Hamilton County hospital and Mrs. Soncrant operated a beauty salon in this community.
