Daily Freeman Journal, Webster City, Iowa, Wednesday, May 25, 1977

Mrs. George (Evelyn) Kelly, 56, 1203 First St., died Tuesday afternoon at Mary Greeley hospital in Ames where she had been a patient the past 11 days. She had been in ill health the past three years.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. Harry Ehlers officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.

Evelyn Mae Jondal, daughter of Olaf John and Vera Belle Hicks Jondal, was born March 2, 1921 in Webster City, where she was reared and educated.

On Jan. 8, 1953, she was united in marriage to George Kelly and the couple had since lived in Webster City.

She is survived by her husband; one son and three daughters, Larry Donald Kennedy of Des Moines, Mrs. Patrick (Patricia) Crawford of East Dubuque, Ill., Mrs. Steven (Linda) Golladay, Webster City, and Mrs. Steven (Barbara) Anderson of Webster City; and nine grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother and one sister, Donald Jondal of Burlington and Mrs. Wilbur (Dorothy) Van Langen of Kamrar.

She was preceded in death by two infant sons; her parents; three brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Kelly was a member of the Universalist church.
