MRS. SANDAL DIES AT HOME

Funeral Services for Stanhope Woman to Be Held Wednesday

STANHOPE, Iowa, Jan. 29 - Mrs. Oscar Sandal, 74, died at her home at Stanhope yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock following a several months illness. Death was caused by kidney trouble and complications incident to old age.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home and at 2 o'clock at the Stanhope Lutheran church. The Rev. Oppedahl will officiate and burial will be made at Stanhope [Lawn Hill Cemetery]. Foster's in charge.

Mrs. Sandal leaves her husband and seven children: Mrs. Martin Olson, Mrs. George Simpson, Mrs. J.E. Iverson, Mrs. George Nelson, Elmer Sandal and Martin Sandal, all of Stanhope, and Mrs. Vern Berglund of Stratford.

She had been a resident of Stanhope most of her life. She was born in Sweden and was brought to this country when a child.
