Emil Peterson, 83, longtime Stratford resident, died at 5:45 this morning at the Hamilton county hospital. He had been a patient at the hospital for the past 43 days.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Calvary Methodist church in Stratford with the Rev. Harold Olson officiating. The body will lie in state at the Hanson funeral home until the time of services when it will be taken to the church.

Mr. Peterson is survived by his wife [Esther] and a niece.
