Mrs. Curtis Lindmark Passes Away

Mrs. Lula Adelene Sorenson Lindmark, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Sorenson, was born Nov. 6, 1887 at East Marion and died Thursday, Feb. 18th at the age of 27 years, 3 months and 12 days, her death being due to lung trouble. She passed away at her parent's home at 1:30 p.m. fully reconciled with her Lord and Master. In July 1904 she was united in marriage to Curtis Lindmark at Pilot Mound. To this union was born two girls, Violet and Lawrence. Little Lawrence passed away five years ago. Mrs. Lindmark had lived in Des Moines a number of years also had been out west for her health. She had been in poor health for about four years but able to be around until the last year when death claimed her from her sufferings. The funeral was held Sunday the 21st at the house at 12 M. Rev. Spears, of the Christian Church of Lehigh, preaching the funeral sermon. She leaves to mourn her loss one daughter, Miss Violet, her husband, Curtis Lindmark, of Valley Junction, mother and father of this place, four sisters and seven brothers, Mrs. Victor Stark, of Stanhope, Mrs. Eugene Knight of Stanhope, Mrs. E.R. Cowen, of Louisville, Kentucky, Mrs. F.C. Cameron, of Chicago, Walter Sorenson, of Chicago, Harrison Sorenson, of Akron, Colo., George and Lawrence Sorenson, of Holyoke, Colo., and Fred Ballard, of Santa Maria, California, Albert and Earl of Stanhope. The many friends of the family extend their sympathy in their hour of sadness. The pall bearers were Earl, Albert, Harrison and Walter Sorenson and Victor Stark. Those from out of town were Mr. Curtis Lindmark of Valley Junction, Walter Sorenson, of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Sorenson of Akron, Colo., and Mrs. Lindmark, of Pilot Mound.
