DEATH TAKES OLD RESIDENT

John Jacobson, 82, Had Been Resident of Stanhope 63 Years

STANHOPE, Iowa, May 25 - John Jacobson, 82, widely known resident of Stanhope, died at his home there yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock, death being caused by complications incident to old age.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Christian church, the pastor, the Rev. O.H. Dick, officiating. Burial will be made in Lawn Hill cemetery.

Mr. Jacobson, who has made his home in the Stanhope community for about 63 years, is survived by his widow [Anna Nelson Jacobson] and one son, Henry. Four children preceded him in death.
