JOHN S. FERGUSON DEAD

Word was received here the latter part of last week by the family of M.F. Ferguson that his father, John S. Ferguson, had passed away at his home at Bloomington, Ind. Death came at 8:30 Friday evening of last week, Mr. Ferguson having reached the bedside of his father about four hours before the end. The funeral services were held at Bloomington Sunday.

Mr. Ferguson was a man of 74 years of age and is survived by sons F.M. Ferguson of this place, and H.C. and W.F. and one daughter, Ida, of Bloomington. Mr. Ferguson was an old time resident of this vicinity, having lived on a farm near here and later in town for many years. He left home about ten years ago going back to Bloomington where he had formerly lived. Friend of the Ferguson family here join the Record in extending sympathy in their time of bereavement.
