Guy W. Burris died Nov. 8 at Mary Greeley hospital in Ames. His death was due to Spanish influenza and pneumonia. Mr. Burris was thirty-two years of age. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, three sisters, Mrs. Asa Messenger of Pittsburgh, Kansas, Mrs. F. Pantland of Kansas City, Mrs. C.V. High of Fort Scott, Kansas, and an only brother, John E. Taylor, who is now somewhere in France; also his mother-in-law, Mrs. Ella J. Taylor. Interment was made in the family lot in the Stanhope cemetery, Stanhope being their former home. Funeral services were conducted by the Methodist minister of Stanhope.
