Mrs. Ray (Marjorie) Wininger, 47, of Stanhope, died Wednesday afternoon at Mary Greeley hospital in Ames, where she had been a patient for five months. She had been in ill health the past two years.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist church in Stanhope, with the Rev. Richard Miller officiating and with burial in Lawn Hill cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Foster Funeral home until 9:30 a.m. Saturday when it will be taken to the church.

Marjorie Ann Tietjen, daughter of John and Laura Fiebaker Tietjen, was born Nov. 26, 1929 in Boone. She was reared and educated in the Stanhope area.

On Nov. 19, 1950 she was united in marriage to Ray Wininger and the couple had lived on a farm near Stanhope.

She is survived by her husband and three daughters: Mrs. David (Becky) Foster of Webster City, Diane Wininger of Des Moines and Amy Wininger, at home; her step-mother, Mrs. John (Alma) Tietjen of Riverside, Calif., and one brother, Don Tietjen of Marion, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Mrs. Wininger was a member of the United Methodist church in Stanhope, the church circles, the Ladies Aid, and also the J.M. club.
