Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma E. Ridge, 75, will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran church at Stanhope with Rev. Carroll Lang officiating. Burial will be in the Lawn Hill cemetery at Stanhope.

Mrs. Ridge died early Wednesday morning at her home in the rural Stanhope community.

Friends may call at the Foster Funeral home until 8 p.m. Friday, at which time the casket will be taken to the church.

Wilma Elizabeth Knight, daughter of James and Mattie Jackson Knight, was born Sept. 24, 1906 at Stanhope. She was reared and educated there and was graduated from the Stanhope high school.

She was married to Charles E. Ridge on Aug. 21, 1934, at Tujanga, Calif. The couple resided in California and also in Arizona, but following the death of her husband in 1969 she returned to Stanhope in 1970, living at home and caring for her parents.

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mattie Knight, a resident of the Stratford Care Center; one sister, Ione Meyer of Boone; and one nephew, Don Meyer, also of Boone.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her father, in 1978, and one nephew, Gaylord Eugene Meyer.

She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church.
