Josh Norris, 27, Stanhope, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2002 in a one car accident near Ellsworth. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Lambert officiating. Burial will be in the Lawn Hill Cemetery, southeast of Stanhope. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday prior to the service.

Joshua Daniel Norris, son of Daniel and Janet Stewart Norris, was born Feb. 7, 1975 at Ames. He received his education at South Hamilton at Jewell graduating in 1993. He worked at Tasler Pallet and Archway Cookies. On July 10, 1999, he married Melanie Kay Howe at Boone. The couple resided at Stratford. He worked at American Concrete and was presently working at LRM Trucking at Duncombe.

Mr. Norris is survived by his wife Melanie, stepchildren, Taija and Gage Sims, his parents, Jan and Dan Norris of Stanhope; brother, Jeremiah Norris of Ames, grandmothers, Harriet Norris of Stanhope and Doris Stewart of Rippey; several cousins.

He was the crew chief of the Stein Racing Team of Woolstock.
