Henry M. Hove, 92, longtime Stanhope resident, died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Bethany Manor where he had resided since 1957. He had been in failing health the past two years.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bethany Manor in Story City, followed by a service at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Our Savior's Lutheran church in Stanhope. The Rev. Enoch Hall and Chaplain Bill Ostroot will officiate. Burial will be in the Lawn Hill cemetery near Stanhope.

The body will lie in state at the Foster Funeral home until 8:30 a.m. Tuesday when it will be taken to Bethany Manor.

Henry M. Hove, son of Mons P. and Anna Hove, was born March 19, 1883, on a farm five and one-half miles southeast of Stanhope. He was reared and educated in the Stanhope community.

He made his home for many years with his brother, Martin Hove in Stanhope.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; by three brothers and two sisters.
