Funeral services for Teresse Granville, 95 of Stanhope were held today at 2:30 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran church in Stanhope with the Rev. Kent Larson officiating. Burial was in the Lawn Hill Cemetery.

She died Friday morning at the Stratford Care Center where she had lived for 1-1/2 years.

Teresse Nibe Granville, daughter of Martin and Brita Prescott Nibe, was born May 31, 1890 at Story City.

She was educated in the Story City area. She was married on March 12, 1908 at Story City to Hilman Granville. The couple farmed in the Stanhope area until 1938 when they moved to Stanhope. They observed their golden anniversary in 1958. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1961.

Mrs. Granville continued to reside in Stanhope until she moved to the care center.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Herb of Webster City, Orelin of Des Moines, Ruby Keese of Boone and Florence Byers of Stanhope; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter; and a brother, Reuben Nibe, Story City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, three sisters and her husband.
