William G. Schnepf, 67, Williams, died Jan. 7, 1993, at Hamilton County Public Hospital in Webster City. Services were held Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Williams. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery in Williams.

William G. Schnepf, son of Joseph and Anna (Goetzinger) Schnepf, was born March 14, 1925 in Oyens. He graduated from Remsen High School.

On Feb. 18, 1954, he married Bernadette Wilberding at Remsen. They lived in Stanhope and Jewell before moving to Williams in 1978.

He is survived by his wife, Bernadette; sons, Joseph of Stanhope, Steven of West Point, Neb., Peter of Webster City and Paul of Little Rock, Ark.; daughters, Mary Hassebrock of Williams, Carmelita Schnepf of Fort Dodge and Jean Amosson of Grimes; brothers, Robert of LeMars and Milo of Faribault, Minn.; sisters, Doris Arens of Remsen, Hildegarde Cerveny of Cedar Rapids and JoAnn Reinert of Cherokee; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Christopher Amosson.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Williams and the Williams American Legion Post No. 633.
