HEART ATTACK CAUSES DEATH

John W. Gleason, 72, Dies Suddenly at Home in Blairsburg

BLAIRSBURG, Iowa, Dec. 15 - John W. Gleason, 72, died last evening at 9 o'clock at his home here. His death was very sudden and was caused by heart trouble. He was sitting in his chair when he suffered the attack.

Mr. Gleason was born in Ireland and came to the United States with his parents when two years old. The family lived in Illinois several years, moving to a farm near Williams in the late seventies. "Jack" as he was familiarly known, made his home at Williams and Blairsburg since then. He was a stock buyer at Blairsburg for more than 30 years.

He is survived by two sisters, Miss Mary Gleason, of Blairsburg, and Mrs. Katherine Pyle, of Waterloo, and two nephews, Theo and James of Blairsburg, and three nieces, Miss Deloris Pyle, of Waterloo; Mrs. Arthur Carpenter, of Fairbanks and Mrs. Roy Maubach of Williams.
