Webster City Freeman, Webster City, Iowa, Wednesday, October 26, 1898

James Gleason, who was injured by the train between this city and Blairsburg, some two weeks ago, died at Blairsburg from the effects of the injuries Monday night. Mr. Gleason was among the early settlers of eastern Hamilton county and died at the age of about seventy years. He leaves three sons and two daughters. The funeral was held from the Catholic church in Williams this morning at 9 o'clock and the remains interred in the Catholic cemetery there.
