John W. Franklin, Jr., died Friday at the Catholic hospital in Dubuque. The remains were brought to Williams and the funeral held from St. Mary's Catholic church. Mr. Franklin was but 42 years of age and was born in Williams township. He is survived by his wife, eight children, his parents, three sisters and two brothers.
