WILLIAMS - Thomas J. Crilly, 69, a longtime resident of the Williams community, died Friday night at Mary Greeley hospital in Ames, following a short illness.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic church with burial in St. Mary's cemetery, Father Clarence Cruse officiating.

Rosary will be at 8 o'clock this evening at the Surls Funeral chapel in Williams.

Mr. Crilly was born March 13, 1912 at New York City, son of Patrick and Rose McGuire Crilly.

He moved to the Williams area with his family in 1914. On June 20, 1933, he was united in marriage to Frances Holdgrafer, and the couple farmed in the Williams area.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Donald Crilly of Billings, Mont., and Thomas Crilly, Jr., of Elgin, Iowa; five daughters, Mrs. Earl (Rosemary) Lehmann of Elgin, Iowa, Mrs. Gerald (Charlotte) Brim of Williams, Mrs. Avery (Jeanette) Ratzke of Williams, Mrs. Richard (Elizabeth) Bradley of Sedalia, Colo., and Mrs. Ronald (Mary) Stanley of Sterling, Colo.; 25 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Walgemuth of Peoria, Ill., and Mrs. Veronica Burud of Rhinebeck, N.Y., and one brother, James Crilly of New York City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, one son and one grandson.
