Christopher J. ‘Sabotage’ George, 41, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at Premier Estates of Muscatine, after his courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Columbus, Ohio, at a later date. Memorials may be made to his daughter, Grady George. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com
Christopher was born on July 6, 1975, at Fort Carson, in Colorado, to James R. George and Nancy Pelz Wilson.
Growing up, Chris lived with his family around the world while his parents were in the military.
He was united in marriage on March 9, 1996, in Wilton, before moving to Columbus, Ohio. Chris shared his life with gusto, a love of cars, Harley’s, friends, business ventures, smiles, family, and the loves of his life, his three daughters.
Those left to honor his memory include his three daughters, Grady, Jorian, and Avery George, all of Columbus, Ohio; his father James R. George (Deborah Leedom) of Muscatine; his mother, Nancy Wilson (Bob) of Wilton; his siblings, Shelia Hammed (Don) of Kernersville, North Carolina, Bobbie Barclay (Devin) of Muscatine, Tiffany Terwilliger of Fort Dodge, and Brad Wilson (Allison Lee) of Muscatine; his ex-wife, Sara George of Columbus, Ohio; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Nieman; maternal grandmother, Jeannie Pelz; and one aunt, Donna Pelz.
