Funeral services for Mrs. J.H. (Elsie) Riley, 67, will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Greenfield Memorial chapel with the Rev. Gordon Watson officiating and with burial to be made in Graceland cemetery.

Mrs. Riley, a longtime Webster City resident, died Wednesday [December 31, 1969] at Bethesda, Md., after a short illness.

Elsie Hall, daughter of Sabin and Lora Hall, was born on a farm in the Homer community. She received her early education in the Homer and Webster City area.

On Sept. 10, 1924, she married J.H. Riley at Fort Dodge. Mr. and Mrs. Riley made their home in Webster City for 25 years.

Mrs. Riley is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Gordon Reed of Bethesda, Md., and Mrs. Lewis Nichols, Jr. of Webster City; nine grandchildren; her father, Sabin Hall of Webster City; two brothers, Glen and Howard Hall of Stratford and one sister, Leoto Hall of Webster City.

She was a member of the Methodist church.
