Charles Fletchall, 70, Webster City, died Aug. 16, 1995, at his home. The body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Foster Funeral Home in Webster City, with Rev. Mike Morgan officiating. Private burial will be at a later date.

Charles B. Fletchall, son of Charles and Mildred Seamands Fletchall, was born Dec. 7, 1924, in Kamrar. He was educated at a rural school northwest of Kamrar and also attended Kamrar High School. On Nov. 29, 1947, he married Philis McCollough in Des Moines. The couple resided in Webster City, and he was employed at Hight Pontiac for two years. He was then employed at Beam Manufacturing (Frigidaire) for 37 years. He retired in January of 1987 as chief of quality control laboratory. He had been in failing health for the past year.

He is survived by his wife Philis Fletchall; three daughters, Janice King, Fort Dodge, Sandra Lovelace, Jean McDowell, both of Webster City; son, Kevin C. Fletchall, Webster City; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; mother Mildred Fletchall, Webster City; sister Betty Manion, Lakewood, Colo.; two nieces; one nephew; and one aunt. He was preceded in death by his father, one grandson and one uncle.

Mr. Fletchall was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church, American Legion Post No. 191 of Webster City, the V.F.W. and was a former member of the Webster City Moose Lodge.

Memorials may be given to the Hospice of Hamilton County.
