Mrs. George F. Dickerson, 66, longtime resident of the Webster City community, died Monday afternoon at her home, 904 Second St. While she had been in ill health, her death was sudden, being attributed to a heart attack.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Foster funeral home with the Rev. R. D. Kitterman officiating and with burial in Cass Center cemetery.

Anna W. Whiton, daughter of Arthur and Martha Whiton, was born July 28, 1894, on a farm northeast of Webster City and was reared and educated in this community.

She was united in marriage to Ralph Crose and to this union two sons were born, Dennis Crose of Des Moines and Estelle Crose, Webster City. She was united in marriage Sept. 2, 1945, to George F. Dickerson and the couple had always since resided in Webster City.

Besides her two sons, she is survived by her husband, three step-sons and one step-daughter, Millard Dickerson and Carl Dickerson, both of McCallsburg, John Dickerson of Story City and Mrs. Helen Campurand of Omaha; a number of grandchildren, and one sister, Cora Whiton of Webster City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and five step-children.

Mrs. Dickerson was a member of the Methodist church, and also a member of the Women's Relief Corps and the American Legion Auxiliary.
