Lois E. (Mrs. Lyle) Evans, 72, of Sun City, Ariz., a former Webster City resident, died Thursday, June 7 at her home.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 11 at 1:30 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Boyle officiating. Burial will be made in Graceland Cemetery.
Friends may call at Foster Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Sunday, June 10 until the time of service.
Lois Eileen Foster, daughter of Gordon and Edna Stroup Foster, was born Jan. 30, 1918 at Clarion.
She was educated at Clarion and Webster City, graduating from Webster City High School. She attended Webster City Junior College for one year.
On Nov. 19, 1939, she married Lyle W. Evans at Webster City. The couple resided at Emporium, Pa., and Seneca Falls, N.Y., moving to Sun City in 1971.
Survivors include her husband, Lyle W. Evans of Sun City; two sons, Michael of Newport, N.H., and Gary of Raleigh, N.C.; one granddaughter, Laurie; two great-grandchildren; her mother, Edna Foster of Webster City; and three brothers, Gordon of Fort Dodge, and John (Jack) and Verne of Webster City.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Willis.
She was a member of Lakeview United Methodist Church in Sun City.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
