Faye Moser, Eagle Grove, died Thursday, January 28, 2016. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. Foust Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Faye Moser, the daughter of Grover and Gertrude (Fisher) Yoder, was born August 17, 1926, in Woolstock, Iowa. She attended schools in Woolstock, Clear Lake, Des Moines and one semester at Webster City Junior College.

Faye was united in marriage to Emile Hanus in 1941 to which three children were born, Jule, Mary and Eddie. Emile died in 1967. In 1969, Faye married Larry Moser who had three children, Jim, Diane and Barbara.

Faye was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove where she was an active working member of the Sacred Heart Guild from 1969 to 2011 and Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She loved flowers and gardening. For many years, Faye helped with field work and hauling grain to town in the fall.

Faye passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Emile; brothers: Martin, Bernard, Cedric, Don and Grover Jr.; sisters, Venetta Kepler and Margaret Stangeland; step-daughter, Barbara Ostercamp; grandson, Matthew Reiland and great-grandsons, Mark and Matthew Carpenter.

Survivors include her husband, Larry of Eagle Grove; children, Jule Hanus of Des Moines, Mary (Ron) Reiland of Savanna, IL and Eddie (Amy) Hanus of Blairsburg; step daughter, Diane Schweitzer of Loomis, NE; 12 grandchildren: Diana Carpenter, David Hanus, Dwight Hanus, Danny Hanus, John Reiland, Ronda Reiland Cousins, Jason Reiland, Chris Hanus, Jennifer Hanus, Scott Ostercamp, Steven Ostercamp and Cheyenne Chamberlin; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; sisters, Lea LaRue of Des Moines, Fran Lindstrom of Eagle Grove, Kay Thomas of Ankeny and Terrie Becker of Humboldt; special people, Doris Umthun of Eagle Grove, Della Derscheid of Rochester, MN and Dick Ostercamp (Kristy) of Eagle Grove and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Monday, February 1, 2016, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove with Monsignor John Hemann celebrating. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Eagle Grove.
