T. Rae Graves, 41, a former resident of Webster City, died Sunday evening at the Southern Nevada Memorial hospital in Las Vegas, Nev., where she had been a patient since Nov. 20. She had been in failing health the past three years.

Services are pending.

A daughter of Archie R. and Thelma S. Graves, she was born July 5, 1943 in Des Moines. At an early age, she moved with her parents to Fort Dodge where she was reared and educated.

She was graduated from Fort Dodge Senior high school in 1961 and from Fort Dodge junior college in 1963. She attended the University of Iowa and later worked as an administrative assistant in legal and publishing offices in Hawaii and Las Vegas. In 1977, she returned to Iowa and most recently lived in Webster City, residing here until November of this year.

She is survived by her mother, Thelma S. Graves at Crestview Manor; her sister, Myra Graves Maxon, Webster City; one uncle, Oliver W. Graves of Des Moines, and an aunt, Ida M. Graves of Elmwood, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her father in 1970.

Cremains will be buried at North Lawn Cemetery, Fort Dodge.
