Jerald 'Jerry' Dean Hayes, 74, Iowa Falls, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Scenic Manor Nursing Home, Iowa Falls, Iowa. Celebration of Life ceremonies will be held at a later date. The Linn's Funeral Home in Iowa Falls is helping the family with arrangements.

Jerald ‘Jerry’ Dean Hayes, 74 of Iowa Falls, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Scenic Manor Nursing Home in the Scenic Living Communities, Iowa Falls, Iowa. Jerald Dean Hayes was born November 22, 1941 in Marshalltown, Iowa, to Floyd Everett and Kathleen Mary [Smith] Hayes. Jerry attended Iowa Falls School District until the 11th grade, where he decided to sign up for the service and join the United States Army. After that he spent most of his life living in Texas, where he worked on a milk farm, cleaned up at a concert hall, and worked for the City of Houston. Later in Life he moved back to Iowa Falls, where he met Joyce.

Jerald Dean Hayes is survived by his two sisters: Bonnie Thies of Iowa Falls, Iowa, and Kay [Dick] Terveer of Iowa Falls; and also many nieces and nephews. Jerald was preceded in death by his parents: Floyd and Kathleen Hayes.
