Robert Seiser Sr. passed away at Van Diest Medical Center on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the age of 71. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on October 7, 2015 at Webster City Church of Christ in Webster City, IA with a luncheon to follow the service at The Bridge (across from the church). A visitation will be held prior to the services at 10:00 a.m.

Robert is preceeded in death by his parents, William and Irene Seiser, infant son, Rick Ellis Seiser and nephew Tim Seiser. He is survived by his 3 brothers, Richard Seiser, Roger Seiser and Jim Seiser and his 5 children, 3 sons and 2 daughters, Robert (Amy) Seiser, John (Laura) Seiser, David (Marna) Seiser, Becky (Jeremy) Lake, and Deborah Seiser. He is also survived by his 21 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Robert worked in masonary and construction for the majority of his life. He did masonary work at several locations around Webster City including the courthouse, Hamilton County Speedway, fire station and many others.

Robert was known as "Catfish Bob" for his love of fishing. Some of his favorite past times were Saturday night races and bowling league that he participated in with his brothers. He had a passion for his children, grand children, and great grandchildren. Robert was a well known respected member of the community that went out of his way to help many. Even in his later struggles with his health, he was always helping others when needed.
