Mrs. Grant (Margaret V.) Whipple, 66, died Saturday at the Methodist hospital in Rochester, Minn. She had been in ill health since December.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Edgewood Mortuary with the Rev. Paul D. Williamson officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Duane L. Whipple, Webster City; William G. Whipple of Bursnville, Minn., and Ron Whipple of St. Charles, Mo.; two daughters, Mrs. Olaus (Gloria) Oppedahl of LaMirada, Calif., and Mrs. Kendall (Kay) Klaver of Stratford; 14 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Vern (Martha) Baxter of Webster City, Mrs. Ted (Bertha) Ferrell of Webster City and Mrs. Frank (Elma) Mallo of Tustin, Calif., and four brothers, Floyd Clabaugh, Lakota, Iowa, Roy Clabaugh, Estherville, Jacob Clabaugh, Webster City and Charles Clabaugh of Dolliver, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

She was born in Webster City July 14, 1909, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas C. and Mary A. Duckett Clabaugh. She was reared and educated in Webster City.

She was married May 4, 1926, to Grant J. Whipple in Fort Dodge.

She had been attending the Asbury United Methodist Church.
